Author's Notes: This is a little shorter then i wanted it to be...so sorry...hope you like...it's harder than it looks to write this stuff.
Katie paced around the jail cell wondering when the heck she would be released. She went over to the bars and the guard was now awake and reading the latest edition of the Malta Newspaper. She let out a sigh and the guard ignored her and turned the page of the newspaper. She scowled then let out a louder sigh and still the guard went on reading the latest news. She then grunted with frustration and flopped down on the hard cot. She put her head down on the pillow and one thought filled her mind, Simon. Why was he always the one to rescue her? Why couldn't it be the other way around? She closed her eyes and drifted off.
"The names Indiana Katie thank you and you could start by giving me a job at WOAK again."
"Anything you want, you are our heroine."
"Our Heroine." Luke repeated before encircling her legs in a small embrace. Katie chuckled softly to herself.
"Hey, kid, you can loosen the grip." He backed away and nodded his head.
"Thank you Indiana Katie." He said with a quick bow of the head. She clicked her tongue and winked at him
"Anytime, kid." She walked past Holden and Luke to the person she really wanted to see.
"You know I thought all along you should have been included. It was evil Lily here that thought you would endanger us."
"I know, my Simon, so what should we do with her."
"Indiana Katie, I am forever in your debt, please forgive me." Katie through her head back and laughed.
"Well, I'll forgive you on one condition."
"What, anything."
"You stay away from MY husband for good."
"Of course, he loves you more than he ever could have loved me. You are the greatest Indiana Katie."
"I am aren't I." Simon then threw his arms around her and she closed her eyes reveling in his touch. He cupped her face lightly and leaned in for a kiss, but Katie reluctantly pulled her face away. "Save that thought Honey, and do me a favor."
"Whatever your little heart desires."
"RUN!!!" She yelled and the 5 of them started running towards the exit as they heard a loud rumbling noise. A few seconds later there was a big boulder chasing them. They ran up the stairs and through the long corridor towards the door. The boulder, though, didn't follow them this time. It went towards the room where the opera was being held and amazingly the loud annoying singing stopped and that was music to Indiana Katie's ears. Simon scooped his wife up in his arms and kissed her breathless exploring every inch of her mouth with his tongue and she did the same. Lily, Holden, and Luke watched and sighed muttering about how romantic this all was. For Katie it was everything she ever could have dreamed of. Simon broke away from their kiss and leaned his lips over her ears.
"Wait till I get you home and thank you proper." Katie shuddered at those words and leaned in for another kiss.
"Hey, you, wake up." She heard the thick Italian accent and it woke her from her perfect dream. She sat up and stared daggers at the prison guard.
"What do you want?"
"You need to eat." He threw a plate of something unrecognizable to Katie in her cell. She picked it up and started to eat the revolting food and could still hear the sound of the opera loud in clear in the distance. Could this get any worse?
